Indie Filmmaking Explained!

In other news, I have revamped my film website thanks to finding an absolutely fantastic little flash player here that allows me to stream video far more effectively than before. Hurrah for you, Jeroen Wijering.
Now everything plays off the "Watch" page, and I've added previews of the new "Stress" and "Stucklike" videos. Go see, then send me money, and men of easy... oh never mind, I seem to have one of those already.
And now, preposterous halloween garb, and inadvisable cocktails!

The pleasure of your company is requested...
For those in or near London, my friend's band Evil Genius are playing a special Halloween gig at the Rhythm Factory (on Whitechapel Rd, near Aldgate East) next Tuesday, 31 October, and I would love to see you there. I've been doing a bit of design work for Evil Genius, and did the gig flyers:

For everyone else, I give you music. My friend the very talented music producer Julian Chown and I remixed one of Evil Genius' songs to use for this Credo web promo I'm cutting at the moment; you can download the song here (please don't stream, it kills my bandwidth). Ah, we had some fun with it. (Musicians: never give your friends copies of your songs to remix. Especially when they're film people and like to throw in really random sound effects.) I'm also going to do a new mixtape for you soon, when I have time, or when I become so busy that the urge to insomnia-fuelled procrastination becomes undeniable.
On the comics side, the first volume of my French sci-noir series, Messiah Complex is out now in France. You may buy it here from Amazon France.
Now, I was going to say "the first ten people to email me will get a free copy, plus a pdf of the English translation", but that was before I went to the post office this morning and mailed a copy to some friends in Los Angeles. They cost £7 to send to America, gentle stranger! I cannot afford to send out 10 for free. But! The first 10 people to email me (at the address on the top right here) and who are willing to pay US$12 to my paypal account to defray the cost of shipping, will get a copy. Signed, too, if you want it, although I never really see the point in signing things.
Otherwise, I have just been working non-stop. I promise a more exciting update soon, but in the meantime, hope to see you on the 31st.
