Meanwhile... very sad family health issues force me back to America - briefly in November and then likely for a much longer stay in December - so if I am unreliable or difficult to get in touch with, please bear this in mind. I'm doing the best I can.

8.10.07 While-U-Wait

I stepped out for a while; now I'm back. Things are still a bit messed up, thanks for asking, but I am painting on a veneer of Normal Service Resuming so we can all just pretend that things are fine. Clap hands if you believe in normality, kids!

The Real Tuesday Weld / Puppini Sisters video is nearly out of postproduction, but while we wait, have another Tuesday Weld clip:

This is a live demo I cut for Stephen from some of my own footage of the band plus camera-phone footage from Tuesday Weld fans in Scotland, Russia and elsewhere. The track is an alternate version of "The Decline & Fall of the Clerkenwell Kid", the second song from his new album. The difficulties were twofold: first, that Tuesday Weld shows are always dark due to the videos projected above the band; and second, that I was cutting live performances of various songs to a studio cut of a different song. I'm not sure it quite captures the magic of a live Tuesday Weld performance (do go see them; they gig only rarely) but it was a fun project.
